I have done a clean install (format), but also have other programs which i loaded at the time so perhaps something is causing a conflict. But from looking online it seems others are having this issue also. Hi there, I'm still working on this issue with support. Quote I can play my H.264 even H.265 MKV videos normally using Intel GPU on powerdvd 17. Happy new year, and wish you can find the exact factor that cause the problem soon. It might fuzz your initial request (resolve the stuttering playback) as it's not all other users' problem. Does cyberlink not assist you after you contacted them? I can understand you are quite upset that your powerdvd 17 has the issue on your pc.īut, it's a way trying to "promote" your issue as it is a very critical and ubiquitous one and cyberlink doesn't care about it. It's for sure that they have different hardware and software combinations from yours, and some of them were not playing video file but BD disc. If not, try to sort out if there are any other software has unknown conflict.Įxcept the above suggestion, I saw that you gathered several online discussion that some other users had similar symptom.

You have reinstalled Windows completely but still have this issue?ĭo you install any other video/audio tools simultaneously?ĭoes the issue still happen if your Windows is completely fresh one that only installed hardware drivers? I can play my H.264 even H.265 MKV videos normally using Intel GPU on powerdvd 17. MPC can do this, so there's really no reason why PowerDVD should also be able to.- Fix the issue of audio crackling when playing an mkv with 7.1 audio and dolby virtual speaker is enabled. While i'm here some other issues that should be addressed.- Allow a video with hardcoded black borders to be stretched fullscreen.

Please don't ask me to update my drivers again, reinstall the software again, or post another dxdiag. Please take this issue seriously, identify the cause, and issue a fix.

This is obviously a bug/flaw within the PowerDVD software and you will most likely only notice it when watching a movie or tv episode, rather than just viewing a video clip for a few minutes. I am a first time user of PowerDVD and really like both the sound quality (Dolby Virtual Speaker) and the image quality (Truetheather), but stuttering video completely ruins the whole viewing experience. Especially when a free player, such as MPC, plays back the same videos without issue. The stuttering issue seems to have been around awhile now, and it's not acceptable that such a problem should exist in software specifically designed to play videos.

Things I have tried to fix the problem without success: People who have reported stuttering issues with PowerDVD When pausing a video, or skipping ahead, stuttering becomes noticeably worse especially when hardward acceleration is enabled. I have truetheather enhancements for lighting and color enabled. This happens with all video files, and the same videos do not stutter with media player classic. My issue is occasional stuttering during playback of MKV files (H.264).
